As summer edges into fall, join host Alaka Halder for a fun (and shaded!) September picnic at Barton Springs (Zilker Park).
We’ll catch up with friends old and new, share stories from the summer, and make plans for the fall. Bring snacks, sun protection, and something to sit on. This event is family and dog-friendly. Plus-ones are welcome!
Come when you can and stay as long as you like. Depending on interest, we could also walk around Barton Creek, dip our feet in the water, and even grab dinner nearby.
We’ll follow local COVID best practices and meet at a nice, shaded spot near Barton Springs/Zilker Park. The exact location will be disclosed via email and the #texas Discord channel closer to the date. Suggestions welcome!
