Join Montessori Infant and Toddler Guide, Beatriz Freitas, and explore the Montessori perspective on babies’ gross motor skills! Whether you’re expecting a child, already have one or more, this salon is designed for you!
The first years of a baby’s life are incredibly rich in movement, quantity and variety. From the first jerky newborn reflexes to running and jumping around with ease as toddlers, babies navigate rapidly changing bodies, developing nervous systems, and a deep desire to move as the primary way to explore their environment. In this session we will talk about how babies develop gross motor skills, as well as some challenges parents may face and how you can support your child.
This salon is part of a Kinderintellect series on Montessori parenting.
