Calling the Muse: Come to Me!

Interintellect Anwar AlKandari will lead a discussion on inspiration – where do we find it? How can we get more inspired? What do our muses reveal about ourselves?
In a scene of “Anne with an E” TV show where Anne feels uninspired, together with her friend Cole they stand at the top of a mountain and scream out loud: Come to me, muse! Come to me, muse!
Every person (artist, writer, scientist, etc…) needs a muse for inspiration whether it’s disguised in nature, a person, or simply a reflection in the mirror. We tend to get enchanted by things that reflect something deep in us: dreams, anxieties, fears, or desires. Where are the possible places that we can stand on to scream “Come to me, muse!” and get inspired? Why is it important to seek inspiration? How can we keep getting inspired at difficult times? And how can we spark more ideas in our minds?
Together in this salon, we will dive deeply into sources of inspiration and share our muses to create our own synergy of inspiration! As Jack London puts it: “You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club”.
Note: prepare pictures of your favorite place(s) or object(s) where you often run into your muse there and get inspired effortlessly!
