Can I Get Some Feedback on That, Please?

In this debut salon, Mike Haber will host a discussion on Feedback.

This salon will focus on feedback between people. There are many types of occasions when feedback can occur. People can give feedback. People can ask for feedback. It can happen in academic settings, work settings, when dealing with the council, and in relationships.

We will discuss real life examples of giving and receiving both good and bad feedback and some practical ideas and stories of how to make it better for everyone.

• What happened before you received some feedback really well?
• What makes a good or bad time for receiving feedback?
• How do you know you don’t want feedback right now?

We can discuss how to make feedback better, and maybe cover some of the darker aspects of feedback…
