Join award-winning writer, Tara Isabella Burton, and Liberties managing editor, Celeste Marcus, for an offline social on authenticity, artificiality, and femininity!
Please join Interintellect and Liberties Magazine for Female Fame, an offline salon (and Novitate Conference after party) on authenticity, artificiality, and the paradox of femininity. This event is curated specially for attendees of the Novitate Conference, and features readings and conversation from Tara Isabella Burton, author of ‘Self-Made: Creating Our Identities from Da Vinci to the Kardashians,’ and Celeste Marcus, managing editor of the Liberties Journal. The dialogue will focus on Barbra Stanwyck, Isabelle Huppert, sex, power, celebrity, femininity, and the eternal mystique of ‘it’ in an age where more and more of us believe we have the power to shape how we are seen.
The event will take place in Washington, DC, District of Columbia 20009.
Available spaces are limited to 13 for each of the following groups: Interintellect members, Novitate conference attendees, and Liberties Journal subscribers.
The event will primarily be standing with a simple buffet, but there will be seats for those who need them.
Interintellect members, please sign in to RSVP.
