Discover Your Creative Potential By Crafting “Tomorrow’s School”

Creativity is a skill, and this workshop the opportunity to start developing its potential! 

Join Zelda, the creator behind “Tomorrow’s School,” to learn new artistic tools while shaping the future of school.

Did your experience in school help develop your creative potential? Unfortunately, for many of us, the answer is no. In fact, many schools end up doing exactly the opposite – repressing our creativity, taking away our ability to dream up and therefore build a better future for ourselves and the world.

But guess what? Your creative potential has not left you; it’s just a little sleepy and wrapped in limiting beliefs.

This salon workshop is meant to tickle your creative self awake while also improving your toolkit for day-to-day decision making and working on the biggest challenges of the 21st century.

You will leave the workshop with:

1. Artwork done in mediums you’ve never used before.
2. A deeper sense of connection to yourself and the new people that you meet during the workshop.
3. New creative and wellness tools to experiment with in your daily life.
4.  Motivation for building the life you want and a better world.

This workshop is held in a safe, playful, and warm space. Both total beginners and people already in tune with their creativity will learn new tools and techniques.

To Prepare:

Plan for 3 hours with short breaks (we might finish a bit earlier if we get through everything).

1. Paper / Notebook
2. Writing / Drawing utensil (pens, pencils, pastels… but at least a pen!)
3. A snack and plenty of water to help you stay energized 

If you want to get a shot of inspiration in advance, I recommend watching:

1. This iconic TED talk by Ken Robinson “Do schools kill creativity?”
2. This wonderful documentary about Anna Halprin, “Breath Made Visible”, a pioneer in post modern dance, social art justice, and therapeutic creative tools, in which school I studied some of the techniques I’ll pass to you during this workshop.
