“Hosting 101” is an on-going host training series, where Interintellect Host Care Lead Crystal Duan will discuss the basics of how a salon works and what makes a good host.
In this training, we’ll talk about "personality" and how you can make hosting a great experience with your unique one.
Anyone who's been self conscious about being too shy (or not shy enough?) will walk away with a better idea of how they can be a great host and play up their strengths.
We’ll focus on how to create a good space for a conversation no matter what type of person you are. E
If you’ve ever wondered:
- How do I keep people engaged as a good salon host, even if I’m shy?
- How do I make sure I don’t take up space the whole time?
- What happens if I’m tired?
- What happens if people don’t talk? What do I do?
