“Hosting 101” is an on-going host training series, where Interintellect Host Care Lead Crystal Duan will discuss the basics of how a salon works and what makes a good host.
In this training, we’ll talk about the different ways you can promote your salon - from YouTube shorts, to creating a host page, to tweeting, and how you can grow as a host.
We believe hosting on our platform is like growing a Substack — with practice and creativity, you’ll grow your audience over time.
We’ll focus on how you can market your salon well, drum up anticipation, and what an ideal cadence to promote would look. If you’ve wondered:
