Sparks Between Us: From Friends to Lovers, Or Friends Yet Again?
October 22, 2021 at 10:00 pm - 1:00 am SMT
Start time where you are: Your time zone couldn't be detected
When was the last time you felt ‘in limbo’ with someone that is more than a friend, maybe a lover, but never forever? How do you know if someone is more than just a friend?
How would you define the milestones that mark the progression from friend to a lover? Is it a fluid connection that can be transitioned smoothly, without explicit negotiation of boundaries? How far will you go when you are infatuated?
“Intimacy is getting to know your fear & desires, everything outside it is small talk.” — An InterIntellect member and a lover
In this salon, we’ll explore the gray area between friends and lovers, explore the ‘signposts’ that determine who is a friend or a lover, discuss the lifespan of romantic relationships, and debate over the number of romantic relationships we can possibly have in one lifetime.
We’ll also discuss how our personal attachment styles may affect the ways in which we relate with one another.
Then, we’ll look at some images with varying levels of intimacy together and discuss what we perceive, perhaps even share personal stories!
This is a 18+ and wine-friendly salon.
