The ADHD Adult: Self-Esteem, Self-Parenting & Addictions
June 8, 2022 at 9:00 am - 12:00 pm SMT
Start time where you are: Your time zone couldn't be detected
Join Rachel as we explore the self-esteem issues the ADHD adult has, and how one might pursue self-parenting as a means to “heal” from one’s ADHD. In addition, we will also discuss the issue of addictions and the ADHD brain and how they are practices that might be helpful for the person with ADHD to experiment with to better manage their symptoms without the use of medication. See series page for previous episodes.
In this salon, we will discuss Part 6 of Dr Gabor Maté’s book, “Scattered Minds: The Origins and Healing of Attention Deficit Disorder”.
Part 6 is titled, “The ADHD Adult”.
It’ll be ideal if you have read the section, but selected texts and a live reading will be conducted during the salon for anyone who might not have the chance to read it. So swing by as long as you’re interested in the topic!
This salon is part of a 7-part series
