Join us for this special episode of our History of Love series where we’ll build on the history of love to explore the future of love.
To conclude our seven-month series which started with prehistoric dating, we will build upon texts by some of our favourite contemporary thinkers – Amia Srinivasan, Moira Weigel, Ross Douthat, Elizabeth Bruenig, Diana Fleischman – to discuss how the future of romantic love, sex, and traditional family models will likely change in the next hundred years.
We will talk about online dating, access to sex, the effects of the gig economy and political polarisation on the family, the polyamory trend, and even sex robots.
Bring your questions, and let’s dive in!
