Great cities and a prosperous America are linked; communicating a positive vision for our country’s future relies on a compelling aesthetic template. How can we break out of the boring aesthetic of American urban life into something new? Similarly, the future of the American city has dimmed since the onset of COVID-19. In this final episode of the “Saving the City” series, I want to discuss which American cities will continue to succeed and what this means for urban planning and economics.
