Teens have straight, important questions, but few adults ever give straight answers… until now. Andrew and Isabela are teaming up to share wisdom and demystify the world for teens.
– How do I make friendships that stand the test of time?
– How do I deal with impossibly high standards that just makes me feel bad?
– I fell behind in zoom school and now my boyfriend/girlfriend is the only reason I want to do well, what do I do now?
– How do I balance “enjoying my youth” and “building for the future”?
– What’s the point of going to school and then work, anyways?
– How do I actually chart a path from school to getting a job? I’m scared of becoming a NEET.
Teens have straight, important questions, but few adults ever give straight answers, in many cases because they don’t want to admit that they don’t know. The truth is that straight answers do exist — there ARE ways to solve your problems. So I’ve created a panel of my wisest, kindest friends to demystify the big questions, and to make the complexities of the world legible to teenagers who feel lost.
The truth is, none of us know the whole truth. But we all have pieces of it, and by straightforwardly sharing those pieces, we can create a better map by which to navigate the world and find our place within it.
NOTE: This series is for teens only. While well-meaning parents, teachers, siblings, etc. may also worry about these questions, these salons are meant as a space where teens can speak freely and openly.
This series runs every other Saturday, starting April 23, 11 AM PDT.
(2 PM New York, 7 PM London, 8 PM Berlin)
