Economics for the People – Hosting Econs Salons, 101
January 12, 2022 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm CET
Start time where you are: Your time zone couldn't be detected
You do good work. You have great ideas. You understand trade offs, constraints, and incentives and policy.
Why not share your ideas directly with the general public who they are about and for?
If you’re an economist – practicing, lecturing, researching – of any level, a graduate student, post-doc, or professor – come find out how becoming an Interintellect host can open your ideas to new minds, and your mind to new ideas. This free salon with veteran host (and sometimes economist), Bronwyn Williams, will help you understand how joining the ii can help you deepen your understanding of, and impact in, the world.
Interintellect is a global community where every day, interested and interesting come together to talk about what inspires and intrigues them at virtual and in-person salons. Salons bring people from all across the world together to talk about philosophy and science, art and technology, finance and economics, politics and history, religion and music (and all of those things mixed together) in a welcoming, private (yet open too anyone!) space, allowing the community to explore ideas (even new ones), without prejudice or certifications getting in the way.
It doesn’t matter what stage you are in: a graduate just getting ready to start your research, or a seasoned professional (or professor), everyone has something to teach and something to learn.
If this sort of community sounds like one you would like to be a part of, come find out more (and how to host a salon of your own) at this introductory event.
