Hi, I am Arkadiusz Synowczyk and I study philosophy at Newcastle University (UK). I specialize in epistemology and philosophy of science. Come and join me to explore the relationship between science and religion!

Are religion and science in contact with each other? For example, are they in conflict? Are they independent from each other? For instance, do they make claims about entirely different fields? Are they in dialogue? Do religious doctrines make us expect nature to be knowable? Do religion and science integrate with each other? For example, does science support religion?

All of the above questions concern the relationship between science and religion. For many of us, this relationship is crucial to who we are and how we lead our lives. We will discuss together the abovementioned issues as well as the others, such as the New Atheism and what really happened during the trial of Galileo.
