In this series we will read and discuss George Saunders' book, A Swim in a Pond in the Rain. In the first salon, we will talk about the introduction to the book, discuss what we're hoping to learn, and tee up the first story, In the Cart, by Chekhov.
In this first salon, we will be discussing the book at a meta level. We will be discussing the author, George Saunders, the introduction to the book, and if we have time, we might even begin discussing the first short story, In the Cart, by Chekhov.
