Join crypto investor and trend-maker Li Jin for a conversation about John Rawls, opportunity, access, and equity. Li will be joined by investor and writer Packy McCormick (The Great Online Game) and Harvard economist and poet Zoë Hitzig (“A Flexible Design for Funding Public Goods,” with Vitalik and Glen Weyl).
This conversation will move away from the practical side of crypto and look instead to its philosophic foundations. From the pursuit of a better internet to the internet as a winnable game to questions about contracts, we will cover three main points of view:
- The crypto space as intervention.
- Consumer markets and crypto in the wider context of non-crypto companies.
- The economic and logical foundations of what’s possible and what’s desirable.
Our panel collects distinct viewpoints on the shifts and potentials caused by crypto, and in looking back to the source, will open up new ideas for this emerging web3 world. Join us for this important conversation on crypto’s role in the philosophy of equality.
