A “Griot” Session: An Evening of Heart Stories

Hi, my name is Rohit. I am a Writer, Storyteller, Teacher, and Coach. I believe in the power of stories and the magic they weave. At their heart, they bring us closer to the very essence of our true nature and the nature of the Universe! I invite you to join me for this Salon.

In the West African community, a ‘griot’ was a person who was charged with keeping the stories of the village. Everyone would tell the griot their stories and the griot would remember them all so that they could tell the future generations.

It is said that the stories the griot told had a very healing effect and enabled a state of well being and reassurance for the whole community. In West Africa, when a griot dies, it was almost akin to a library being burnt down.

You are invited to experience a similar evening of ‘stories of the heart.’ 🙂

What will you take away

4. Learn to be in Harmony with Life – to awaken and deepen our connection with a greater flow than just us and our sense of living.
