In this salon, we’ll dive into three powerful poems by Emily Dickinson. The emphasis is more on her vision of life, rather than technical analysis of her writing. The promise is that Dickinson can open up the world and life in ways that are profoundly inspiring. We’ll read and discuss the poems “This World Is Not Conclusion”, “We Grow Accustomed to Dark”, and “I Felt a Funeral in My Brain”. Spending some time with the poems will be helpful but is not required.
