The Wealth Of Nations Reading Group, Part 1

Thursday February 8 at 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm PST

Start time where you are: Your time zone couldn't be detected

Read and discuss the most important work of economics in the Western canon. Hosted by Ben Landau-Taylor.

The Wealth Of Nations laid the foundations of modern economic theory when it was published in 1776. While the structure of the economy has changed substantially since then, and the study of economics has become far more politicized, this book remains perhaps the most illuminating work of economics ever published, and certainly the most influential.

This salon is hosted by Ben Landau-Taylor, a political scientist and economic historian. Ben’s writing is available at www.benlandautaylor.com and https://twitter.com/benlandautaylor.

For our first salon, please read Book I:
Of the Causes of Improvement in the Productive Powers of Labour.
