Thinking Like a Writer with Tara Isabella Burton

Join novelist and theologian Tara Isabella Burton (Here in Avalon, The World Cannot Give, Social Creature) for a collaborative workshop designed for InterIntellect members who have followed a series of prompts and exercises (listed in the Discord) from March 1-April 8, 2024.

This workshop (fiction and personal essay/creative nonfiction both welcome) is designed for InterIntellect members who want to share what they’ve been working on – inspired by a series of prompts and exercises that will be available on the Discord throughout March and early April 2024. Participants will be expected to bring work to share, and come ready to offer constructive feedback on others’ work.

• Prompts and exercises will be posted weekly in the InterIntellect Discord’s Writing Lab.
• Participants are encouraged to share work with Tara and the community in the Writing Lab in advance of the session.
