Join Russel Ramos and Vivek in exploring one of humanity’s most mysterious and effective methods of problem-solving: asking for help.
As we become accustomed to the near-limitless access of information on the internet, we can find ourselves believing that all our problems could be solved by finding the right YouTube video or Twitter thread. How could we not, if the answers are just a few search queries away? Instead of tunnel visioning and digesting anything our browsers can throw back at us, we can tap into an often overlooked source of knowledge: each other.
In this salon, we’ll discuss some key questions that can unlock the capacity for helping that lay dormant within the people around us:
- How do we embrace the vulnerability and volition to ask others for help?
- How do we find the appropriate people/spaces that can provide the help that we need?
- How do we provide the relevant information that can increase the quality of help we receive?
