London friends! A free IRL discussion on organising community around the world, just for you. Join Interintellect founder Anna Gát and her knowledgeable panelists to explore how building togetherness works in different geographies, and what we can learn from each other…

Build a community for tech policy, they said.

It will be fun, they said.

And fun it has been. A year on from setting up a community engagement function around technology policy, four young women get together with community muse, Anna Gát, to discuss all they’ve experienced, learned and want to continue to explore as they build communities around the future. Africa, Asia, US and Europe present their own narrative and challenges when it comes to building, managing and growing communities.

What platforms do communities naturally navigate towards? Do communities expect streams of updates and information regularly or prefer to know where to go when they need something? Are conversations and connections online just as deep as in person, two years into a pandemic? Are events still relevant and useful for building community? What are the community trends across continents? So many questions, and even more perspectives.

In this London salon special, Liz Malara, Marie Teo, Rachel Akrofie and Lucia Asanache will share their musings and notes, carefully guided by Anna.

Venue details to be confirmed nearer the time. We promise it will be an inspiring space for our conversation!
