Exploring Collage Techniques and Visualising Our Stories
June 1, 2021 at 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm CEST
Start time where you are: Your time zone couldn't be detected
At this Interintellect salon/workshop Patricia Hurducas will lead a discussion about collage techniques and ways of expression via images, photographs, drawings, paintings.
The salon will start with a short presentation with emphasis on well-known artists that used collages as means of expression (Schwitters, Picasso, Matisse, Gris, among many others) and an introduction to the most famous collage techniques.
In the second part of the salon we will build our own collages in any tool/format of our choosing: Google slides, Miro, Canva, or on paper format. The participants can choose any method of expression and any theme that they would like to explore. At the end of the salon we will have time to present our work, analyse it, and discuss it with the group.
Great to read pre-salon:
- Matisse and His Creative Process
- Juan Gris – Breakfast (1914)
- Kurt Schwitters
