“Hosting 101” is an on-going host training series, where Interintellect Host Care Lead Crystal Duan will discuss the basics of how a salon works and what makes a good host. In this training, we’ll talk about "personality" and how you can make hosting a great experience with your unique one. Anyone who's been self conscious about being too shy (or not shy enough?) will walk away with a better idea of how they can be a great host and play up their strengths.
We’ll focus on how to create a good space for a conversation no matter what type of person you are. E
If you’ve ever wondered:
- How do I keep people engaged as a good salon host, even if I’m shy?
- How do I make sure I don’t take up space the whole time?
- What happens if I’m tired?
- What happens if people don’t talk? What do I do?
Definitely come to this salon!
There will be plenty of time to discuss your own questions, too.
No matter if you’re an experienced host or just about to embark on your hosting journey, come through to chat about what it takes to make a great salon happen.
EVERYONE is welcome to attend: from the general public, Interintellect hosts, and Interintellect community members!
Note: This free, 120-minute host training session will be recorded and shared with fellow ii hosts.
