The Curation Series – Becoming the Curator (Part 3) with Patricia Hurducas

During this Interintellect Curation Series Patricia Hurducas will lead a discussion on the topic of curation in three parts: Understanding the Curator (Part 1), Copying the Curator (Part 2), and Becoming the Curator (Part 3).

In the third part of the series – Becoming the Curator – we will discuss the museums of the future and we will embark on a spontaneous personal curatorial journey. The first part of the salon will be a brainstorming session about our past curatorial experiences and a brief group discussion on the essay Curating with the Internet by Sean Lowry, while in the second part we will present our virtual galleries using the platform Kunstmatrix. Please think about a theme for a virtual gallery that you would like to explore and curate during the salon. The second part of the salon is meant to be a mini-workshop so no preparation is necessary. The tool Kunstmatrix is free to use and the participants will be given 30 minutes time to curate their virtual galleries.
