The Life of Others – Living the Immigrant Experience

Join engineer and [training] mathematician Meghan Kane (an American in Berlin) and Interintellect founder Anna Gát (a triple immigrant of Hungarian origin) as we wade through the many aspects of the immigrant experience, from fitting in to making sense, from those left at home to building a home, from antifragility to new support networks, and whether the feelings of Otherness are with us to stay.

Our global community is thrilled to invite you to a safe and casual discussion of the immigrant‘s experience–our lives as the Others.

As Interintellects we are intimately familiar with the role of being an outsider, which for many of us is combined with living far away from where we originally come from, pursuing education or love, professional success or contemplative silence, or all of these, wanting all. How we relate to the new world around us and how it relates to us never stops fascinating…
