Love playing with words but feeling stuck? Boost your creativity at AI writing workshops with an award-winning video game writer Charlene Putney!
Do you love to play with words? Do you sometimes feel creatively blocked? Do you need some new techniques and exercises to loosen up your mind and your pen?
Yes? Then this session is for you!
This is the free introductory session for the Muse In The Machine series with some fun reading, discussion and participatory co-creation. In this opener, Charlene Putney (award-winning video game writer) will introduce the series, lead a discussion on AI writing today, host a participatory AI creation with everyone in attendance, and offer up a few exercises to try right now: as in every session of this series, we’ll make something small together and something bigger alone, co-creating with AI, each other, and our inmost self.
This 8-part series is hands-on and practical: you will leave every creative session with a piece of work. At the end of our series, you’ll have a whole collection. After each session, we’ll publish submitted pieces in our own special Substack, which will be co-published with the Interintellect Substack, boosting the visibility of your creations to the world. We’ll explore cut-up technique, Oulipo methods, prompting, writing partners, illustration as mirror, character creation, worldbuilding, and much more. We’ll use a variety of tools, including LAIKA, Narrative Device, Chat-GPT, and many more (all tools will be free to use for participants).
