Do you love to play with words? Do you sometimes feel creatively blocked? Do you need some new techniques and exercises to loosen up your mind and your pen?
Yes? Then this session is for you!
This is the first workshop session for the Muse In The Machine series with some fun reading, discussion and participatory co-creation. In this opener, Charlene Putney (award-winning video game writer) will introduce some new AI-powered exercises for getting past the blank page, lead a participatory AI creation with everyone in attendance, and, as in every session of this series, we’ll make something small together and something bigger alone.
THE SERIES:
This 8-part series is hands-on and practical: you will leave every creative session with a piece of work. At the end of our series, you’ll have a whole collection. After each session, we’ll publish submitted pieces in our own special Substack, which will be co-published with the Interintellect Substack, boosting the visibility of your creations to the world. We’ll explore cut-up technique, Oulipo methods, prompting, writing partners, illustration as mirror, character creation, worldbuilding, and much more. We’ll use a variety of tools, including LAIKA, Narrative Device, Chat-GPT, and many more (all tools will be free to use for participants).
