Workshop #5 – Worldbuilding by bouncing with AI

In this session for the Muse In The Machine series,  Charlene Putney will lead us on a worldbuilding crash course: from designing the space in which our stories take place, to the details of the locations we’re dreaming up, and even some quickfire generative exercises. As in every session of this series, we’ll make something small together and something bigger alone, co-creating with AI, each other, and our inmost self.

THE SERIES:

This 8-part series is hands-on and practical: you will leave every creative session with a piece of work. At the end of our series, you’ll have a whole collection. We’ll explore cut-up technique, Oulipo methods, prompting, writing partners, illustration as mirror, character creation, worldbuilding, and much more. We’ll use a variety of tools, including LAIKA, Pi, Chat-GPT and many more (all tools will be free to use for participants).
