“Interintellect 101”: How to Host an Interintellect Salon Series – With Jason Crawford

What if you’re an Interintellect, but you just don’t know it yet…?

Every day, we come together from across the world to talk about philosophy and science, art and technology, finance and history, religion and music: all the thoughts and emotions we experience as humans, without judgment or certificates. Sometimes we play games, share music, or paint together. We also gather globally in parks and cafes, from Austin to Zurich, and host hybrid events to introduce each other to unique locations.

Jason Crawford is writing a book about the world of industry and infrastructure, and how it was invented. In his salon series entitled ‘The Story of Industrial Civilization: Towards a New Philosophy of Progress’, he explores the content from his book together with fellow interintellects, chapter by chapter, giving an inside look at the author’s creative process. Each salon opens with his research and writing on the topic so far, followed by discussion and Q&A.

Jason will share his experience hosting the series so far, and answer your questions about how to create your own salons and join our community of curious people from around the world for interesting conversations.
