Rachel Tan is hosting a salon series titled, Understanding My ADHD: A Series on Dr Gabor Maté’s book, Scattered Minds

ADHD has been a topic that’s been all the rage in recent times. So much of it has been misunderstood even as people self-diagnosing online are struggling to learn the best ways of coping with this neurodivergent delight. Dr Gabor Maté proposes a groundbreaking way of conceptualising the origins of ADHD and also proposes methods of healing that is not only based on traditional medication.

As a person who suspects that I have traits of ADHD and am contemplating getting a diagnosis, I’d love to chat with folks, both diagnosed and undiagnosed, about how life is like living with ADHD, or traits of it, especially in an age where digital distraction hinders our ability to focus for long periods of time on work or other creative pursuits.

Let us come together to share and support one another in a discussion centered around Gabor Maté’s educational and intriguing book, Scattered Minds.

This series has 7 episodes, running on Wednesdays once a month, at 9am-12pm SGT

Dates: January 26, February 16, March 23, April 20, May 25, June 8, July 6

Depending on availability, the host might release tickets for each individual salon, too.
