The Meaning of ADHD Traits – Hyperactivity, Lethargy & Shame

April 20, 2022 at 9:00 am - 12:00 pm SMT

Start time where you are: Your time zone couldn't be detected

$25.00

Join Rachel as we explore how distractibility and tuning out is related to one’s internal emotional turmoil of the ADHD individual. In addition, we will discuss the intertwining of hyperactivity, lethargy and shame, and how it presents itself in both the ADHD child and adult. See series page for previous episodes.

In this salon, we will discuss Part 4 of Dr Gabor Maté’s book, “Scattered Minds: The Origins and Healing of Attention Deficit Disorder”.

Part 4 of this book is titled, “The Meaning of ADHD Traits”.

It’ll be ideal if you have read the section, but selected texts and a live reading will be conducted during the salon for anyone who might not have the chance to read it. So swing by as long as you’re interested in the topic!

This salon is part of a 7-part series
