Hi I’m Gina! Therapist, avid learner and educator. I’ve spent time in many settings, ranging from mental hospitals to jails and schools, immersing myself in situations that require both survival and compassion.
In this episode we will explore the way play relates to self-compassion. We will also look at some philosophical and imaginative games that help us regain access to our sense of play! Some questions inspired by the readings: What is the relationship between play and self-compassion? How do we know when our play is supporting our self-compassion practice? What sort of guises emerge out of play and how is our sense of fun shaped by our roles in society?
